Oct. 19 - Upon arrival at Joe Wheeler State Park Marina, we were warmly welcomed by our Goose Pond friend Stacy Brannon (SeaSea). She was manning the VHF radio for the marina, assigning dockage space and welcoming incoming boaters. The American Great Loop Cruiser's Assn. (AGLCA) was having their rendezvous there a few days later, and 60 Looper boats were expected. Several had come in early, and more were ariving each day. We saw two other couples that we knew: Bob and Kem DeGroot (Spirit Dancer) and Bruce and Alice Duckett (Heritage), so invited them and Stacy over for Happy Hour aboard Omega...a good time of fellowship.
