July 3 - Lots of activity at Grand Harbor Marina tonight with fireworks display and entertainment. The area was packed, and everyone had a great time.
July 19 - We have been at Pickwick Lake at Grand Harbor Marina for three weeks, and it has been delightful. The weekends are alive with activity on the water - all the weekend warriors are out in their pontoon boats, sailboats, bass boats, cruisers, and anything else that floats. Omega is docked right across from the ship's store and fuel dock, and we have seen as many as 11 boats and six jet skis taking on fuel, snacks, etc. at one time plus more boats awaiting space. It's a zoo! All of this activity brings lots of wake and Omega bounces up and down with it, so we're happy when Monday arrives and everyone has to go back to work.
We enjoyed lunch and an afternoon visit with Johnny and Jean Creel from Booneville, MS. (See third photo). Johnny and Charlotte grew up together in Sebring where they played in the band. Both of them were in the Marching Chiefs at FSU and the symphonic band, so they share lots of great memories.
We took Debbie and Andrea to Pickwick Lodge on the lake for dinner. Andrea went down to the dock to watch the sunset, and her Granddad captured a great photo of her from a distance.

We were delighted to have Daughter Debbie and Granddaughter Andrea from Tulsa here for three days last week. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and we didn't waste a moment. Took them out on Omega for a cruise down near Pickwick Dam where we anchored, had lunch, and enjoyed swimming (Capt. Andrea and Bill in second photo.)
On Wed., we all went out on the dinghy. Went to Goat Island where we had fun feeding the wild goats. Anchored in a cove and enjoyed swimming again. It was great! It was a long drive for them, but we think they had a good time.
